When you are applying for a Justices' Licence, serving the correct notices on the correct statutory bodies at the correct time can be a tricky business. We can advise on the application that you will be required to produce to the Court, help in obtaining the appropriate plans, ensure that the various statutory notices are published in the right journals, and appear with you at Court.
We can also make applications to the Local Authority for a Public Entertainment Licence for you.

Major changes to licensing procedures are coming in over the next 18 months. All licensing matters will be taken over by the Local Authority and not only will premises have to be licensed but persons who run premises will also have to have a separate personal licence. Even if you are an existing licence holder you will be affected by the changes. We can advise you on that and ensure that the changeover for you takes place as smoothly as possible.
Please contact us at our Worksop office and ask to speak to either Dennis Barnett or Peter Swinscoe.
